If love is happiness,
why is there sadness?
If love is kind,
why is there pain?
If love is understanding,
why are there fights?
If love is sharing,
why is it possessive?
If love is for me,
why don’t I feel it?
If love is free,
why do people cheat?
If love has no boundaries,
why don’t we love?
If love is enduring,
why does it die?
If love is me,
why don’t I love you?
If love is here,
where am I?
If love has many sides,
why can’t I find one?
If love can reach me,
here I am.
While reading Leo Buscaglia’s book Living Loving and Learning yesterday, this poem catched my attention. Let me know what you think about it…
